Our Psychiatric Emergency Services teams provide around-the-clock, seven-days-a-week, crisis intervention for both mental health and addiction-related emergencies. Our goal is to help avoid a lengthy hospital emergency room visit, whenever possible, by intervening with an individual or a family in a more comfortable, less stressful environment. We can provide services at our offices, in a family’s or individual’s home, at school, in other community settings, and, in the most acute situations, at a hospital emergency room.
In situations of extreme psychiatric risk, we can conduct patient evaluations in the Emergency Services departments of many hospitals, including Newton-Wellesley Hospital (Partners Healthcare), Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Needham, and Harrington HealthCare.
We are pleased to share comments from the people we serve:
"My experiences with Intensive Coordination Care have been wonderful. The people I worked with were dedicated, informative, supportive, caring, and eager to help in any way."
