2017 Guidance Center Gala
Everyone had an amazing time at our Guidance Center Gala Friday evening, March 31, at the Charles Hotel in Cambridge! Even a Nor’easter couldn’t keep people away. The energy at this sold-out event was palpable, the room was beautiful, and together we raised more than $260,000 to help children and families served by The Guidance Center! We couldn’t have done it without hundreds of friends and sponsors. Thank you to all who participated for your generous support.
Mohammed, who shared his family’s story with us that evening, said it best: “It is because of you that The Guidance Center can continue to do the amazing, life-changing work that they do. I hope that you will continue to support The Guidance Center; and from all the families that you have helped and will continue to help, I say thank you!”
The event was attended by more than 270 people. We were pleased to honor a core member of our community, Victoria Oliva, a tremendous friend and advocate for the children and families served by Riverside and The Guidance Center.
Special thanks to the hard-working Gala committee, especially co-chairs Ed Feijo, Lauren Harder, and Gail Roberts! We also want to thank and say farewell to our Events Coordinator Kaitlyn Ferrini, who is moving on to her next adventure. We will miss her and wish her well.
Without the support of our friends and sponsors, thousands of children would lose access to programs designed to build on the strengths and resilience of family. Thank you again to all who made the Gala such a success and for providing a lifeline to the children and families we serve.
