Community Crisis Stabilization and Respite

Our Community Crisis Stabilization (CCS) program is designed to help adults (18+) who are experiencing a mental health crisis or urgent substance use concern, and is an alternative to inpatient psychiatric hospitalization. Located in safe, home-like settings in residential neighborhoods, individuals can elect to participate in this program voluntarily through our Mobile Crisis Intervention. The program is staffed 24/7 and the typical stay is around five days.

Community Crisis Stabilization provides structured programming such as group therapeutic support and individual counseling in a relaxed environment. Our multi-disciplinary staff includes psychiatric providers, counselors, behavioral health clinicians, nurses, and certified peer specialists. We provide treatment planning, case management, medication evaluation and management, peer support, and recovery-focused groups. CCS can also serve as a step-down alternative from a hospital admission for an improved transition back into the community.

Respite programs generally provide longer-term clinical and rehabilitative services to help someone ready to transition or return to independent or group living in the community. For more information about our respite services, click here.
