Riverside’s Partnership with the Norwood Police Department

Riverside has partnered with local police departments and embedded clinicians in Norwood, Dedham, Needham, Walpole, Ashland, and Sturbridge to work with officers and go on calls that might be related to mental health or substance use. These clinicians are part of Riverside’s Mobile Crisis Intervention team and they provide mental health evaluations to assess safety, determine if the individual needs a higher level of care, and ascertain the appropriate resources to recommend.
