Riverside Community Care Named a Top Place to Work in Annual Boston Globe Survey

Dedham, MA –  Riverside Community Care, a leader in behavioral health and human services helping more than 40,000 people annually across Massachusetts, has been named one of the Top Places to Work by The Boston Globe for 2022. The winners were unveiled on November 30 and will be featured in Globe Magazine on Sunday, December 4.

Over 381 organization names were submitted earlier this year when the Globe requested nominations of top companies to work for. Riverside’s inclusion in the final rankings was based on follow-up feedback from a confidential and anonymous survey sent to employees of all nominated companies, covering topics such as company management, organizational direction, employee engagement, work environment, and benefits.

The list of 2022 Top Employers includes public, private, nonprofit, and government employers in Massachusetts and is divided into four categories based on the number of employees: small (50-99), medium (100-249), large (250-999), and the largest category (1,000 or more employees), which includes Riverside Community Care.

In an email to Riverside employees announcing the award, Marsha Medalie, Riverside Community Care CEO, praised those whose efforts were instrumental in propelling Riverside into the winners’ circle. “We are thrilled to receive this award honoring not only the organization but you, the staff members who come to work every day prepared to make a difference. You are the ones who share your commitment to the people you serve, as well as your camaraderie and sense of mission with your colleagues.”

The accolade joins Riverside’s award from Forbes as a 2022 Best-in-State Employer and a Diversity & Inclusion Trailblazer Award from the Association of Developmental Disabilities Providers in 2021.
