b'MESSAGE FROM THE BOARD OF DIRECTORSAs a community-based non-profit organization serving more than 40,000 people a year in Massachusetts, Riverside Community Care offers a wide range of mental healthcare, developmental and brain injury services, early childhood and youth programs, addiction treatment, trauma response, and more. Our behavioral health consulting, incident response, and technology platforms are extending our reach to more than one and a half million people around the globe.Over the years, Riverside has strived to ensure diversity and inclusion are reflected across the organization, and today, this work is an urgent priority. We on the Board of Directors intend to be part of this effort, and to translate words into action with the following specific steps.We will: have Board representation on the Riverside Diversity & Inclusion Committee; address updates on D&I as a standing agenda item at monthly Board meetings; commit each Board member to taking D&I trainings; and formalize the Board Recruitment process to diversify our membership. We all have a part to play in building a diverse and inclusive organization that is culturally competent.We, as a Board, look forward to supporting this important initiative as we make this transformational work not only a priority, but a reality.4'
