Our Psychiatric Emergency Services teams provide around the clock, seven days a week, crisis intervention for both mental health and addiction-related emergencies. Our goal, whenever possible, is to help avoid a lengthy hospital emergency room visit by intervening with an individual or a family in a more comfortable, less stressful environment. We can provide service at our offices, your home, at school, other community settings, and, in the most acute situations, at a hospital emergency room.
In situations of extreme psychiatric risk, we can conduct patient evaluations in the Emergency Services departments of the following hospitals: for the south/west suburban Boston area, we work with Newton-Wellesley Hospital (Partners Healthcare), Steward Hospital, and Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Needham. In South Worcester County, we provide services at Milford Regional Medical Center and Harrington HealthCare.
We are pleased to share comments from the people we serve:
"The Life Skills program transformed our teenage son. He is leaving with a good sense of identity, aware of his triggers, can deescalate self quickly, negotiates and we have not had to repair any walls. The whole family has benefited. Thanks so very much."
