Happenings

  • Running for a Reason

    Running overnight for 27 consecutive hours , Dr. Patrick McEnaney of Milford Regional Medical Center logged 100 miles to raise over $19,000 for Riverside’s mental health and suicide prevention programs.  The youngest of three boys, he lost both older brothers to suicide.  Running has been his personal therapy, and we are grateful that he dedicated his incredible achievement to our work.

  • Settling in at 117 Summer Street, Somerville

    Riverside programs formerly located at 5 Sacramento Street, Cambridge (Family After School, Meeting Place, and the Outpatient Center) have moved into our new building at 117 Summer Street, Somerville.  Now with Outpatient, Domestic Violence, After-School and Life Skills under one roof, we have the ability to deliver services more efficiently and provide greater continuity of care for those we serve with these programs.

  • Responding to COVID-19 With Statewide Mental Health Help

    FEMA and the Department of Mental Health have called upon the Riverside Trauma Center to deploy its trauma response and crisis intervention expertise in a statewide initiative – called the MassSupport Network – to bring behavioral health resources, information, and referrals directly to individuals and communities.
