Suicide Prevention Town Hall: “I Want to See You Tomorrow: Understanding and Supporting Youth in Distress” from 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, September 24.

The Town Hall, co-sponsored by The Pioneer Valley Coalition for Suicide Prevention, will include suicide prevention experts Dr. Sally Spencer-Thomas and Riverside Trauma Center’s Dr. Larry Berkowitz, who specializes in youth and families. Both will present essential information and practical tips.

Author, prevention advocate, and suicide attempt survivor Craig Miller will share his personal story, as will Ysabel Garcia, a mental health advocate and social justice educator who will discuss her experience as a Latina youth immigrant with suicidal intensity.

While this event is focused on youth suicide prevention, it will include essential information for everyone and all in attendance are sure to walk away with widely applicable and practical insights.
