As a person who struggled with addiction for half of my life, I had nobody to talk to or who understood what I was going through, and that is why I chose to work in the recovery field. My approach is very soft and understanding because I sympathize with how people are feeling. As a first-time mother in recovery, I relate to other moms and what they are going through or the feelings they are feeling. A lot of people have told me I am easy to talk to, and that’s exactly how I want them to feel.
