Vicker V. DiGravio Named President of Riverside Community Care

Dedham, MA – Riverside Community Care, a leader in behavioral healthcare and human services, today announced that Vicker V. DiGravio III has been named President and will begin September 20. The role of President became vacant after Marsha Medalie rose from President to CEO of the organization. DiGravio was selected after a nationwide search.

At Riverside, DiGravio will help establish strategic direction, develop organizational plans in response to opportunities or changes in funding and community needs, and advise regarding service delivery, organizational strategy, mission, and marketing efforts.

DiGravio currently serves as Vice President of Strategy at eHana, a leading health information technology company specializing in the Massachusetts behavioral health and human services marketplace. His work at eHana has focused on strategic planning, including partnerships and new market opportunities, as well as managing eHana’s customer relations strategy and engagement. Previous to eHana, DiGravio was President/CEO of the Massachusetts statewide trade association for behavioral healthcare providers, the Association for Behavioral Healthcare. He also previously served as Chief of Staff to Massachusetts Senate Majority Leader Fred Berry.

DiGravio received a BA from Connecticut College and a Master in Public Administration from Harvard University’s Kennedy School. He serves as Treasurer of the Bridgton Academy Board of Trustees, is the Co-Chair of the Frederick E. Berry Institute of Politics at Salem State University Advisory Board, and is the Co-Chair of the Connecticut College 1911 Society.

Marsha Medalie, CEO of Riverside Community Care, remarked, “Vic DiGravio is the perfect match for Riverside. I’ve worked with him for many years and have been impressed with his excellence in forming partnerships and alliances. He’s also a strategic thinker with a deep knowledge of the state and national behavioral healthcare systems, which will enable him to help guide Riverside in new, outcomes-focused ventures. I’m confident he’ll be a great addition to the Riverside team.”

“We are extremely pleased to have Vic join the organization,” said Joseph Wadlinger, Chair of Riverside’s Board of Directors. “His background and experience are a unique combination, resulting in an executive who is a complementary fit to Riverside’s existing leadership team. Well known for his skills and integrity, Vic has a leadership style that is consistent with the culture of Riverside. He’s ready to make an immediate impact and the Board looks forward to working with him.”

“I am incredibly excited to join Riverside and its great team, said DiGravio. “Riverside is truly a leader in providing high-quality community services in Massachusetts. The organization has a strong history of innovation in meeting the needs of individuals it supports. I am looking forward to building off of that history as Riverside continues to expand on its record of excellence.”
