Her latest article highlights the accessible, community-based care the Commonwealth’s system of 75+ BHUCs provides to MassHealth members like Tommy.

BHUCs empower individuals to see a mental health professional without the wait times often associated with primary care or the stress of an emergency room visit. In addition to Somerville, Riverside operates BHUC sites in Newton and Lynnfield, with BHUC services also available in Riverside’s Community Behavioral Health Centers in Milford and Norwood.
