At a time of increasing anxiety, stress, addiction,and suicide risk among young adults, this partnership will not only expand behavioral healthservices for students and serve neighbors in the community as well, but advance the field byproviding student internship opportunities and faculty collaborations on innovative research andpractice initiatives.The SOUTH COAST EMPLOYMENT COLLABORATIVE is our sixth regional collaborativeRiverside-led partnerships of state agencies, employers, and human service organizations coming together with the common goal of increasing employment for individuals with a wide range of disabilities. Together we all commit to connecting people with companies seeking qualified job applicantsopening up new opportunities for dedicated, hard-workingindividuals and for employers struggling to fill positions in todays challenging job market.We work with local partners and employers throughout each region and welcome the chance to expand our reach into the southeastern area of Massachusetts.Riversides MindWise Innovations introduced MINDWISE ON CAMPUS: SUICIDEPREVENTION FOR STUDENTS to train college students how to recognize signs of suicide risk and be able to ACT (Acknowledge, Care, Tell) if they are worried about themselves or a friend.Modeled after our SOS Signs of Suicide, an evidence-based youth suicide prevention program for mid-dle and high school students, the online self-guided or peer-led training is offered through college oruniversity campuses. Videos, interactive learning, and real stories of mental health struggles and recovery 2 help college students support themselves and their peers in an era when young adults are experiencingescalating mental health struggles.'
