We know from research and Riverside’s own work in communities and schools across Massachusetts that glamorizing suicide, as is done in the show, increases the risk of suicide among youth. Riverside has begun piloting a model for expanding the number of older adults who can receive cost-efficient and convenient psychiatric services remotely. Using video technology, Riverside can expand our capacity to provide high quality behavioral health services to people who previously had limited access. We provided 124,994 outpatient therapy visits. of adolescents who participated in our Riverside Schools successfully moved on from the program – by graduating, returning to a mainstream high school, or moving to a less intensive level of care. 86%
