Riverside “On The Air”

It’s exciting that Riverside will be on both TV and radio this week!  A rarity that this has happened simultaneously.  We couldn’t have planned it better!

Our friends at Thoughtforms, a custom home builder based in West Acton, have been introducing Riverside to listeners on WBUR during drive time each day this week.  This is our second run on NPR and it’s a great way to let the community know about Riverside.  We truly appreciate ThoughtForms generosity and their commitment to educating NPR listeners about our organization.

In case you didn’t see it the first time it aired, “Chronicle” is re-running the “Teen Suicides,” episode tomorrow (Thursday) night at 7:30pm.  This “Chronicle” episode takes a closer look into the issues of depression and suicide, with a focus on the recent youth suicides in Newton, Massachusetts. Larry Berkowitz, Director of the Riverside Trauma Center, has been consulting with the city and school officials about “best practice” strategies for responding to this challenging situation and is one of the key people providing continued advice on the issue of suicide in schools.

Hope you catch us on air!
