History of Riverside Community Care Riverside’s origins can be traced back to the early 1960’s, when the first of the organizations that would become part of Riverside Community Care was formed. Over the past 40 years, Riverside has grown rapidly to offer more than sixty programs in an area with over 1.5 million people. Although we have continued to broaden our service area, we have stayed true to our roots as a community-based, non-profit organization dedicated to providing high quality, locally-based care. Last year, over 14,000 people from more than 60 Massachusetts communities turned to Riverside for help. Today, we remain committed to offering one high
standard of care to everyone we serve and believe that the many
accreditations and
certifications, national awards, and positive consumer satisfaction
surveys we have received are the most tangible demonstrations of
our success. With our exceptional track record, we have continued
to grow and thrive, and to develop new models of care to meet identified
community needs. For the infants, children, adolescents, adults and
families who come to us each year, the most important factor in choosing
Riverside is knowing that they will find “the help you need,
close to home.” |
