Training and Staff Development

Riverside Community Care values its employees and demonstrates this by investing in the training and professional development of all staff.

Riverside’s outstanding staff-training program is widely recognized as one of the strongest in Massachusetts.

Riverside dedicates significant resources to its staff-training program. Trainings are offered free of charge to all staff and cover a wide variety of topics. Trainers include national and regional leaders in their respective fields.

Certification trainings such as first aid, CPR, and medication administration are offered monthly to assist staff in meeting their certification requirements.

CEU’s are offered for social workers and licensed mental health counselors.

Our multi-disciplinary training committee and staff training survey ensure that the trainings we offer reflect the ever-changing needs and interests of our staff and support our learning culture.

Riverside also provides a generous tuition reimbursement program for staff who are pursuing degrees or seeking to enhance their skills and knowledge by attending job-related college courses or participating in certificate programs.
