Our team of licensed clinicians at the Riverside Outpatient Center in Lynnfield is dedicated to helping each individual they work with navigate through their difficult times. We can help you not only get back on track but also help you develop the tools you need for the future and to improve your quality of life. Please call 781-246-2010 for more information or to schedule an appointment. All referrals must be directed through our intake coordinator, Sabrina Belaid-Akil at ext. 2028. The Riverside Outpatient Center in Lynnfield is located at 6 Kimball Lane #310, Lynnfield, MA 01940.

Meet Our Team

Ariel Axelrod-Hahn

Ariel Axelrod-Hahn

Ariel is a master’s level clinician and also provides school counseling at Kennedy Middle School in Woburn. Her area of concentration is behavioral medicine and health psychology, specifically between mental health and metabolic syndrome and obesity. She draws from a strong commitment to the peer counselor model of mental health rehabilitation and is trained in EMDR and mediation. Ariel has a MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Behavioral Medicine from William James College and a BA in Russian Area Studies from Wellesley College.

Sabrina Belaid-Akil

Sabrina joined the Riverside family in 2017 and is the Intake Coordinator for the Lynnfield Outpatient Center. Sabrina provides guidance and direction to what the most appropriate level of care a person may need. Once all the necessary information is gathered she helps make assignments to the clinicians who would best suit their needs. Sabrina is a compassionate, outgoing person with a strong friendly personality. She loves to help others and by doing so it makes her happy day to day.

Brandi Ditch

Brandi is a licensed clinical social worker and a native of Kansas. She joined Riverside in 2001. Brandi earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from Salem State University and is currently Riverside’s Program Director for the Riverside Outpatient Center in Lynnfield. She is trained in Exposure Therapy, substance use treatment, and family systems. Her primary passion is working with children which has carried over into her personal life – at home she is a foster parent through DCF and keeps busy with her sons and their many sports and activities.

Dr. Robert Elswit

Dr. Robert Elswit

Robert graduated Downstate Medical School in Brooklyn, NY in 1980 and then completed his residency training at NYU-Bellevue Medical Center in NYC in 1984. Since then he has worked in a variety of outpatient clinical settings, primarily doing psychiatric evaluations, psychopharmacology, and crisis intervention. He sees adults with a wide range of illnesses. In his spare time he practices Insight Meditation.

Louis Galex

Louis Galex

Louis is a licensed mental health counselor and is an outpatient clinician in Lynnfield Outpatient Center. He earned his Masters of Sports Psychology and Masters of Arts in Professional Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University Phoenix Campus in 2003 and 2009. Louis works with adolescents, young adults and adults but his primary focus in developmentally delayed individuals, sport/professional performance anxiety, and anxiety related disorders. His training includes DBT, Exposure Therapy, CBT, and Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy. Louis’ mindful and gentle approach with his clients allows him to assist clients in making changes within their lives. Louis blends cognitive behavioral therapy, DBT, motivational interviewing and mindfulness. Outside of work, Louis enjoys spending time with his family and pets while also competing in Judo competitions.

Lori Hillard, PhD.

Lori is a licensed clinical psychologist.  She earned her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology and Behavioral Medicine from the University of Maryland and also holds a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Massachusetts, Boston. Prior to joining Riverside, Lori owned a private practice. She specializes in treating clients with addictions and co-occurring disorders.  Lori also trains clinicians throughout Riverside on topics related to substance use disorders.  The core of her work is to convey the importance of understanding clients’ perspectives and the process of change.

Tiffany Horne Noonan

Tiffany Horne Noonan

Tiffany is a licensed clinical social worker who has worked with children, families, and adults in a variety of mental health settings for the past ten years. She earned her master’s degree in social work from Boston College in 2008. Tiffany specializes in working with clients dealing with trauma, depression, and anxiety, and is trained in DBT, family systems, CBT, and mindfulness. She believes in meeting the client where he or she is at and seeks to empower her clients to make meaningful, positive change in their lives. Outside of work, Tiffany loves spending time with her three daughters, practicing yoga, and hiking with her dogs.

Lisa Kelley

Lisa  Kelley

Lisa has over 16 years of experience as a mental health counselor and has worked in a variety of settings including residential, day treatment, and outpatient clinics.  Lisa currently provides individual counseling primarily for adults and is the program director for the Driver Alcohol education program for first time offenders of DUI. She received her master’s degree in Applied Developmental and Educational Psychology from Boston College and is licensed as a substance abuse counselor. Lisa believes that using multiple therapeutic models and a person-centered approach are important components in effective treatment. She focuses on providing a supportive and relaxed environment for her clients and believes in using one’s spirituality as strength within the therapeutic process. Outside of the office, Lisa can be found doing photography, cooking, gardening and other outdoor activities.

Donna M Macdonald

Donna M Macdonald

Donna graduated from Cambridge College with a bachelor degree in Human Services and became a licensed social worker with the MA Association of Social Work Board in 2015. She has been an Outreach Specialist providing Therapeutic Training and Support with the In-home Therapy program since 2009. In addition, she is a facilitator of the Drivers Alcohol Education program for first time DUI offenders. Donna was one of the founding members of the Melrose Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition and is now on the Leadership board of the Wakefield Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition.

Lori MacKenzie

Lori is a licensed mental health counselor and has been practicing in Massachusetts since 1996. She earned her Masters degree in Counseling Psychology from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary. Before joining Riverside Lori worked in a variety of settings including hospital inpatient, partial hospitalization, elementary school, residential, and private practice. Although she works with virtually every age and mental health challenge, Lori primarily sees adults and specializes in addictions, dual diagnosis, codependency, adult ADHD, personality disorders, and faith-based issues. Lori approaches therapy by placing emphasis on self-exploration as its own reward, leading to greater internal resources, increased confidence and resilience. In her spare time, Lori enjoys writing, crafting and being a wife and mom.

Alexandra McCluskey

Alexandra McCluskey

Alexandra is an outpatient clinician. She earned her Master of Education and Master of Arts degrees in Psychological Counseling from Teachers College, Columbia University in 2015, and also holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Carnegie Mellon University. Alex works with clients of all ages, but her focus is the adolescent and young adult populations. In order to meet each client’s unique set of needs Alex’s approach to therapy blends person-centered and motivational interviewing techniques with play therapy, expressive arts therapy, and behavioral strategies. She also teaches the young adult class for Riverside’s Driver Alcohol Education Program and is trained in Exposure Therapy. Outside of work, Alex enjoys spending time with her family, interior decorating, and reading.

Abigail Reynolds

Abigail is a licensed clinical social worker with an educational background focused on cultural diversity.  Abigail graduated from New Mexico State University in 2009. She strives to integrate a holistic style utilizing multiple treatment modalities, such as CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, play, and expressive art therapy for an eclectic therapy reflects the client.  Abigail has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults, as well as providing therapy in a group setting.  When she has free time, she creates jewelry, writes, makes homemade soap, and bakes.

Elsbeth Riemer

Elsbeth Riemer

Elsbeth is a licensed marriage and family therapist, licensed mental health counselor, and outpatient clinician. She has been practicing since 2004 and focuses in the areas of trauma, high-risk adolescence, and families. Elsbeth approaches therapy from a systemic perspective, incorporating the entire client environment and focusing on activating or building natural support networks and internal skill sets. Her grounding in biology, stemming from her chemistry minor, informs much of her method by keeping the client’s mind/body connection and experience an important part of the therapeutic process. Elsbeth attended The College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, MN and Eastern Nazarene in Quincy, MA. She was born and raised in Minnesota – you can find her rooting for the Minnesota Vikings and the Wyld. SKOL!

Bonnie R. Spicer

Bonnie is an independently licensed clinical social worker. She has been in the world of Clinical Social Work since 1987 in roles that have included program management, individual case management, hospital social work, substance abuse, brain injury, teen work, and department director. Working at Riverside Community Care has allowed Bonnie to work with individuals in a personal way, to help them succeed in their goals. She believes people want to be kind and healthy and that attending therapy is an avenue for them to be an even better version of themselves.

Bonnie believes the world is a beautiful place and likes to be out in it as much as possible no matter the weather or terrain.

Melissa Sullivan-DiNardo

Melissa Sullivan-DiNardo

Melissa received her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs. She helps people succeed by showing them they have the power to change their own lives by identifying and building on their existing strengths. She specializes in working with adolescents, young adults, and elders, LGBTQ issues, as well as substance abuse. When she’s not practicing at Riverside you can find her spending time outdoors, sharing her love for cooking, and spending time with her family and friends.
