About the Blue Jean Ball

The Riverside Heart & Soul Blue Jean Ball is a unique event, combining blues, soul and other forms of American roots music with the opportunity to support Riverside Community Care, a community-based healthcare and human services organization that provides services to more than 15,000 Massachusetts individuals and families each year. Funds raised through the Ball support Riverside’s efforts to help meet the urgent needs of youth and families.

Scott Bock, Riverside’s President/CEO, a blues aficionado and writer for several blues publications, is the driving force behind the Blue Jean Ball. Scott envisioned the Blue Jean Ball as a casual annual event where people could support Riverside and the people the organization serves, while having a great time enjoying big name, national and international artists. Because of his contacts in the industry, Scott has been able to book extraordinary musicians who rarely perform in the Northeast.
